Kowtow Piper Skirt
An a-line, full length skirt made in a heavyweight organic cotton denim. The Kowtow Piper Skirt sits high on the waist with a comfortable partial elastic waistband through the back. It has pockets and opens each side with a Tagua nut button closure.
All Fairtrade organic cotton. All plastic-free.

Fabric + Care
This garment is completely plastic-free and is created using the principles of circular design, with full seed-to-garment traceability.
| Organic Cotton: | We use a natural mono-fibre, Fairtrade certified cotton for every garment we make. Grown without harmful chemicals, it’s rainfed, hand-picked and is entirely biodegradable. |
| Organic Cotton Labels: | All our garment labels are Oeko-Tex Standard 100 approved organic cotton. Our swing tags are made from certified GRS recycled organic cotton card, a by-product of our fabric offcuts, attached with a certified organic cotton cord. |
| Nut Buttons: | We use Oeko-Tex Standard 100 approved nut buttons, made from corozo nuts that grow on tropical tagua palm trees. These corozo buttons are die cut straight out of the nut. |
| Natural Rubber Elastic: | Our garments use natural latex rubber encased in certified organic cotton, to provide stretch and ease. |
| Inks, dyes and washes: | Processed using Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) approved inks and dyes, free from chlorine bleach, toxic heavy metals, formaldehyde and aromatic solvents. |
| Organic Cotton Thread: | Our garments are sewn together with Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) certified organic cotton thread. |
Garment care
- Extend the life of this garment and minimise the impact on the environment by only washing when necessary. We recommend airing or steaming to refresh your garment between wears.
- Cool machine wash (30° or lower)
- Line dry in shade
- Medium iron on reverse
- Do not soak or bleach
- Low tumble dry
